Reaching Milestones

With Billy Blackett

A new support service is in the Huon Valley!

Milestone Mentoring is a local Tasmanian business connecting young and engaging mentors with children and youth through fun, inclusive and capacity-building programs. Our mentorship can be funded by the NDIS, Child Safety Services, government grants, community groups and more.

The support work sector offers mentors an exciting opportunity to make a genuine and powerful impact in the lives of children and young people. However, despite the rewarding nature of support work, organisations across Tasmania currently struggle to find experienced and suitable people to address the diverse needs in our community.

With over 3 years of experience in disability support work, youth programs, childcare and education, Billy Blackett has founded Milestone Mentoring, a local Tasmanian business connecting young and engaging mentors with children and youth in the Huon Valley and Kingborough area.
