About Us

The PCYC movement commenced in Tasmania in 1946. Whilst the name we call ourselves and the language which we use to describe what we do has changed in that time, the reason for our existence has remained constant: to reduce crime by providing positive relationships between young people and police.

That job could not be possible without the voluntary contribution to PCYC by members of the community.

PCYCs are successful when we can engage young people who want to be involved in the club, have strong community support and have continued involvement from police officers.

The Huon Valley PCYC is a huge facility and has a great deal to offer anyone and everyone in the community.
